Under Finanzcontrolling control measures become the co-ordination within the financial area, between which financial area and the capacity range understood as well as between the financial area and the management. Goals of the Finanzcontrolling are the maintenance of the solvency of the enterprise and the maximization of the value of requirements for own capital funds. Beside the liquidity protection the co-ordination of investment and financial decisions is a further central field. Among the most important control measures rank the conception and integration of different cost budgets and the organization of incentive and control systems.
In a comprehensive view the Finanzcontrolling covers the following fields (and/or subtasks):
- Liquidity protection (conceptional organization and tuning of financial planning and monitoring short, central and long-term financial situation; Safety device of the availability of reliable information as basis for financial plan and - control)
- Safety device of the and co-ordination of investment and financial decisions (active financial plan, evaluation and development of suitable appraisal procedures for investment decisions, co-ordination (also decentralized) investment decisions with the Unternehmensfinanzierung; Organization of behavior-steering incentive and control systems)
- Support of external accounting; Capital market communication and financial analysis. Consideration of capital market requirements in the Controlling on total enterprise and business division level; Analysis and influence of the financing expenses.
