The DIN 276 German Institut for standardization of the registered association regulates the cost calculation in the above ground construction.
An older version of the DIN 276 from the year 1981 is used in accordance with HOAI for fee determination (more exactly said to the determination of the costs to be taken into account).
In the DIN 276 1993-06 different kinds of the cost calculation and the cost breakdown are essentially specified. It differentiates with increasing accuracy into the cost estimation, cost calculation, preliminary cost estimate and according to conclusion of the task of building into the cost statement.
